12 year-old skeletally immature female with diplegic spastic cerebral palsy and autism who can voluntarily laterally sublux/dislocate the patella by contracting the lateral quadriceps. She was previously treated with guided growth procedure for bilateral genu valgum and an ipsilateral patella realignment using the same procedure. This procedure included proximal patella realignment using a Medial Patellofemoral Ligament (MPFL) reconstruction, and distal realignment using the Roux-Goldthwait procedure. Gentle active range of motion was encouraged immediately post op and she underwent aggressive physical therapy starting four weeks postop. Patient has full range of motion three months postop and patella is stable.
